Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm, is assisting our global manufacturing client in finding a R&D Sr. Electrical Engineer near Fayetteville, Arkansas. This position is responsible for developing new electric motor technologies and products by identifying and implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute significantly to successful results in technology development, product development, and support of existing products performing a detailed cost-benefit analysis for design optimization
- Create electrical designs for industrial motors per internal specifications and industry standards from fractional through integral horsepower range
- Maintain a special emphasis on AC (Alternative Current) induction motor design methodology, modeling techniques, and test standards while analyzing motor test data for performance verification
- Leverage expertise in motor design to contribute innovative and creative ideas to a variety of complex R&D (Research and Development) assignments
- Ensure appropriate protection of newly created intellectual property
- Act as project leader or senior project member providing experience in the execution and use of supporting engineering tools, processes, and methods
- Collaborate with Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain on product specification, application assistance, regulatory or certification requirements and processes
Requirements:
- MSEE with 6+ years’ experience or BSEE with 8+ years’ experience
- Experience in AC induction motor design and Electromagnetic design (FEA) tools
