Johnson Service Group is seeking a Manufacturing Recruiter for a contract position. This position sources, screens, and hires talent for production and manufacturing roles and managing full-cycle recruitment, collaborating with managers, using social media/boards, and ensuring a strong candidate pipeline for manufacturing and production positions in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will need strong communication, negotiation, and sourcing skills, with manufacturing recruiting experience, to attract skilled workers for roles such as assembly, repair technicians, material handlers, etc. Â
Payrate up to $40 per hour based on experience. Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Screening:Â Use job boards, LinkedIn, referrals to find candidates; review resumes, conduct interviews, assess skills/aptitude.
Collaboration:Â Partner with department managers to understand needs and proactively build talent pools.
Candidate Management:Â Act as a key contact, build relationships, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
Pipeline Building:Â Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent, focusing on manufacturing and production positions.
Onboarding:Â Assist with integrating new hires.
Reporting:Â Track metrics and provide status updates as needed.Â
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience recruiting in Manufacturing and production in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with recruitment software (like Workday and MS Office.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Â
Experience:
3-5 years recruiting manufacturing and production roles in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree
