Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing commercial clients
Guide clients through loan structuring, renewals, pricing, and deal execution
Oversee deposit and treasury product recommendations tailored to client needs
Assign loan packages and projects to Lending Assistants and Portfolio Managers
Serve as a trusted financial advisor, answering questions about loans, deposits, and digital banking
Loan & Deposit Production
Collaborate with internal loan and deposit sales teams to develop new relationships
Present loan proposals to committee and obtain necessary approvals
Track and achieve production goals related to loan volume, fee income, and spreads
Underwriting & Credit Quality
Conduct annual credit reviews and maintain compliance with internal loan guidelines
Maintain strong credit quality and aggressively manage past due accounts
Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates impacting loan activity
Business Development & Community Engagement
Develop and maintain referral sources through active networking and community involvement
Represent the company by participating in professional groups, non-profit boards, and local chambers
Execute cold calling and prospecting strategies to grow the loan and deposit pipeline

? Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
5–10 years of commercial banking, lending, or relationship management experience
Knowledge & Skills:
Proven ability to structure and present commercial loan solutions
Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and underwriting
Working knowledge of loan policies, state/federal regulations, and NMLS compliance
Skilled in negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and loan origination platforms
Certifications:
NMLS registration desired
Must complete all required compliance training (must pass a credit check)
