Job Description

Work Experience:
  • 2+ years of SEO-specific experience required
Contract Duration: 12 months, possibility of converting full time
Job Location: Texas, US (on-site)

Education:
  • Utilization of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flash programs with web design and development experience preferred
  • SEO training experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience

Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and their effects on SERPs
  • Experience developing and executing creative campaigns that encourage natural in-bound linking
  • Demonstrated understanding of web analytics and KPI’s
  • High attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and efficient problem solver
  • Strong understanding and utilization of website analytics
  • Required to stay abreast of current SEO strategies, tactics, algorithm shifts, and trends
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

Attendance:
  • Regular attendance required

Some Duties:
  • Conduct site-wide and page level audits to identify issues and ensure the site is properly configured to maximize search engine visibility
  • Identify and execute continual improvements on site structure, URL structure, page constructions, content, and keyword lists
  • Present SEO recommendations to site redesigns, product enhancements, and new site features
  • Optimize websites for traditional search engines, real-time search, mobile search, video search, and image search
  • Collaborate with SEO counterparts and leaders to create strategies, execute tactics, and launch campaigns specific to generate in-bound links.
  • Partner with external individuals and companies to drive in-bound links .
  • Define and assist in development of content for syndication to third party websites and info-graphics to publish on internal and external websites
  • Competitive analysis
  • Perform comparative analysis, track, and report results
  • Partners with other members of the eCommerce team, external departments, and vendors to effectively and efficiently execute projects
  • Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Develop a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and safety rules
  • Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
