JSG is hiring an Senior IT Network Engineer for 6 months for our client Headquarters location downtown Los Angeles.Â
 This is a hybrid schedule with a flexible schedule starting as early as 7:00am – 4:45pm with every other Friday off.
 Job Duties:
Senior IT Network Engineer will be responsible for routing, switching and engineering firewalls and cyber security protection including support, design and integration.Â
Lead in the design, maintenance, and support of network infrastructure including:- Cisco and Arista routers and layer 3 internal/external routing protocols- Cisco and Arista switches and layer 2 services such as VLANs, trunks, port-channels, and spanning tree protocols- Palo Alto firewalls and security policy, VPN, and network address translation- FS application road balancing and Web Application Firewall services- IPAM services for DNS and DHCP- Layer1 services including single mode fiber, multi-mode fiber, fiber trays, and power distribution units.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
The position is to lead and design network systems; provide support for network systems, tracks monitors and troubleshoots network hardware and software.
Leads and performs network research and developmentÂ
Performs network configuration, optimization, installation, upgrades and testing.
Analyze requests and provide customer assistance for solutions.Â
Minimum 10 years of Cisco products and Engineering skillset.
Cisco knowledge - ProficientÂ
Knowledge of Arista, Palo Alto, F5 and IPAM.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Pay rate: $65-$70 per hour
