Johnson Service Group (JSG) a nationally recognized staffing firm is hiring a Site QA QC Engineer for our industrial power generation client in the Lewiston, Maine area.
Responsibilities: Â
Maintain site quality by ensure contractual and local requirements are met
Adjust future project plans based on previous plans
Review contractor plans to ensure alignment
Identify risk and mitigations based on stakeholder feedback
Use quality management system to ensure compliance with regulator and PG requirements
Train site personnel on quality standards
Review documentations related to quality prior to submitting for approval
Communicate plans provided by HVDC to internal team and contractors
Consistently monitor quality control processes
Implement inspections and testing and log in quality control system
Partner with customers, third party, and government authorities on site when needed
Implement and train on completion system, deviation, NCR (Non-Conformance Report) System, CCRP system
Ensure testing and measurement equipment are calibrated and certified
Follow up on inspections and certifications as needed
Provide updates and reporting to site management to support on-time and in-budget execution of  projects
Review delivered material and equipment to ensure accordance with the manufacture’s guidelines and the SQP
Ensures all subcontractors are in compliance with ITP/ITR Hold points and Witness points
Coordinate and conduct internal and contractor quality audits
Implement corrective action based on quality audits
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical)
5 years of experience in Quality Management
Prior experience in Power or Energy
Ability to manage large internal projects focused on change management Â
Experience in ISO9001 and L6S Belt
Knowledge and experience on construction codes / standards
Strong communication skills
