Johnson Service group is an award-winning staffing company looking for a Solder Assembler with 2-5 years’ experience. This is a 4-week temporary assignment for an Aerospace motor company in Simi Valley, CA.
Pay Rate: $25.00 HR
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Soldered to join our production team for a 4-week temporary assignment. This role will primarily focus on soldering circuit boards and related components. The ideal candidate should have experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and circuit board soldering. Â Key Responsibilities:
Perform soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using standard hand soldering techniques.
Work with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components as well as through-hole components.
Inspect and test soldered connections to ensure high-quality workmanship and conformance to standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to comply with safety and quality guidelines.
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily quotas and ensure timely delivery of completed projects.
Follow work orders, assembly drawings, and written instructions for circuit board assembly.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering.
Experience with circuit board soldering, both SMT and through-hole.
Ability to work a 4/10 schedule (4 days a week, 10 hours per day).
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.
Basic understanding of engineering or electronics principles (helpful, but not required).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
Must be able to handle and manipulate small components and tools.
