Johnson Service Group is seeking a Solution Design Drafter to provide technical contributions for both commercialized and new products. This position is responsible for preparing and revision of engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) and designs. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering. This position will be 3 months if full time and 6 months if part time.
20 or 40 hours per week

Participate in the creation of our automation solutions for our customers based on the drawings, measurements and information communicated by the engineering department and / or project manager
Developing concepts to solve technical/logistical problems in the field of pharmaceutical and small part automation and the request of the customers
Produce drawings and Bill of Materials to standards
Review layout plans, make plan corrections
Design parts / equipment / tooling tailored to the needs of the company
Write and ensure the publication of additional documentation
Participate in technical meetings and project progress
Participate, as a team, to solve technical problems
Inputting project and construction data into the in-house ERP/PLM system
Required Skills/Knowledge:
AS or student actively pursuing a degree in drafting, engineering design or other related discipline.
Proficient with Computer aided design software. SolidWorks or AutoCAD required
IT literate (MS Office)
ERP/ PLM experience. SAP Preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and results orientation
Excellent methodical, planning and analysis skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
