Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Sr Network Support Specialist who has a minimum of 5 years’ experience with Palo Alto NGFW and a minimum of 10 years’ network engineering experience This is a multiyear contract hire opportunity with a public utility located in Philadelphia PA.
Pay $65/hour
Seeking an advanced Network support professional to augment existing staff for project work and day-to-day tasks as needed. Resource availability:
Must align with clients standard business hours – between 8AM-5PM Monday – Friday Eastern Time
Must be available for on-call rotation for after hours support
Need to attend on-site meetings/demonstrations one week per year
Skills:
Expert knowledge of Cisco hardware (switches, routers) and IOS
Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall
Expert knowledge of Cisco ISE
Expert knowledge in networking technologies such as wireless, MPLS, Private IP, TLS SIP
Ability to create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation including systems diagrams and architectural assessments for support, audit, compliance and disaster recovery purposes
Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for other members of the IT team
Knowledge of Data Center technologies including storage—FC, FCIP, virtualization (VMWare), Nexus, and Cisco's Unified Computing System (UCS)
Ability to support and/or lead proof-of-concept efforts
