Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Sr. Program Manager (Utility Transmission) for a 12-month contract assignment supporting Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) at the Chattanooga, TN office.
Target W2 Pay Rate: $43.41 to $54.28 (according to experience)
Responsibilities:
- Consult management on complex initiatives.
- Provide oversight of budget planning and operational effectiveness, and drive assigned projects to completion.
- Lead or coordinate project planning for strategic business initiative
- Develop performance metrics to ensure projects are completed on schedule and align with strategic plans.
- Utilize expertise and leadership skills to direct resources and resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
- Lead strategic planning process for assigned business unit.
- Evaluate existing business processes and implement sustainable improvements.
- Research best practices to initiate, develop, and recommend practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased efficiency, and reduced costs.
- Develop and implement change management plans including the development of training, communications, procedures, and/or processes.
- Provide counsel on business, political, or regulatory issues impacting the organization.
- Represent senior leadership on internal and external committees.
- Perform additional assignments as needed.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or field of study directly related to the business unit supported (advanced degree desired)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the utility industry or industries directly related to the business unit supported.
- Proven experience related to business operations, process improvement, project management, and/or financial analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work with various levels of management and teams to accomplish benchmarking, business planning, and related initiatives.
- In-depth understanding of business unit being supported.
- Proven analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Successful candidates may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position / access requirements and essential job functions.
- Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or related professional certifications preferred.
