Your role as a Sr. Systems Administrator
As a Full-Time Sr. Systems Administrator in Oxnard, CA, you will play a pivotal role in managing our IT infrastructure, overseeing the physical network, servers, and essential applications like Oracle eBusiness, Windows, and Exchange. You'll provide subject matter expertise in enterprise-level systems, including Messaging, ESX Virtualization, and Active Directory. Your problem-solving skills will shine as you troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions to accommodate customer requirements. While you'll collaborate within a team, you'll also operate independently to enhance our systems and effectively relate technical matters to business contexts.
You'll manage a messaging environment supporting over 300 users and ensure seamless communication via O365. In this role, you'll prioritize problem solutions and lead special projects, ultimately contributing to the excellence upholds in the aerospace industry.

Candidates should possess a technical degree or certification and 8-10 years of Systems Administration experience within a Microsoft environment. Desired certifications include MCSE, Linux, and VMware.
Proficiency in TCP/IP protocol and networking hardware is essential, alongside the ability to configure and maintain installed systems. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, the capacity to interpret technical documentation, and the ability to convey complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with Windows Server versions, O365, and SharePoint Online, along with experience in storage solutions and database management (SQL and Oracle), is vital. Additionally, skills in problem-solving, workflow coordination, and knowledge of disaster recovery processes will be important as you ensure seamless operation across IT systems.
