Job description
The Staff Accountant is responsible for AP-related transactions per delegated responsibilities which might include but not limited bill/invoice validation, updating or importing transaction details in ERP system to issue Check/ACH/Wire payment.
Process regular AP-related transactions, this subject Staff Accountant will be required to assist Accounting Manager/Supervisor for monthly bank reconciliation, tax-related communication with CPA and involved parties, and any miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Work to process AP and AR-related related transactions per delegated responsibilities and maintains accurate payment processing.
Manage accounts payable to ensure payment is processed in a timely manner without delay.
The AP-related transactions cover majority of payment types including, but not limited to, general expenses, inventory purchase payment, freight bill processing, credit card posting, refund check, petty cash recording, etc. Besides AP-related transactions.
The Staff Accountant will be required to assist the Accounting Manager/AP Supervisor in supporting AR-related activities and monthly bank reconciliation, communication and request from the CPA and related parties for auditing, tax filing, including for 1099, property tax, 571-LS, sales tax, and any miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Detail-oriented with numbers and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
Two or more than two years’ working experience in accounting related experience is required.
Ability to communicate fluently in verbal and written English and Mandarin is a plus.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office software suite.
Strong multitasking ability and organizing skills.
