Fosters culture of accountability, trust, collaboration, recognition, development and results among staff at all levels consistent with the short and long-term objectives of the HR&C organization
Consults and counsels senior management on significant technical, business, or political issues affecting Company and HR&C
Manages a wide variety of high visibility and high impact projects and special assignments. Assignments often require the use of extreme diplomacy in addressing sensitive issues and concerns
Exercises considerable judgment in correlating advisory techniques and business application with experience to make sound decisions meeting the needs of a particular situation
Displays expert level consultation on technical, programmatic, and operational issues/matters that affect or have the potential to affect Company and HR&C operations, as well as issues regarding policy, procedural development, and implementation of improvement actions
Participates in strategic planning and integration of Company and HR&C functions to prepare for success in the restructured utility industry. Oversees and coordinates problem solving policies and processes and integrate them into all HR&C decision processes
Establishes and maintains professional relationships with other business units to allow common goals conducive to a good operating environment
Identifies and evaluates new and existing industry committees and activities to determine the value to HR&C of participation
Identifies opportunities for development and education for various departments related to larger, global issues
Responsible for establishing and managing a consolidated approach to business and technical issues related to functions of HR&C
