Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Production Technician who will work under the direction of technical staff to support for Manufacturing as needed. This is a contract role with a global leader in pharmaceutical products in De Soto, KS. Shift: Friday to Monday 6am to 4:30pm Pay: $21/hr Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the preparation and sterilization of equipment and media solutions. This will include but is not limited to:
Weighing of components
Operating production equipment including: startup, minor adjustments, and quality monitoring.
Completion of accurate documentation
Cleaning and sanitization of work areas and equipment
Supporting other departments as needed
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent required
BS in Biology or related Science strongly preferred
Relevant manufacturing experience (1-3 Years)
Analytical, scientific, and mechanical trouble shooting skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills
Strict attention to detail and safety
Ability to lift 25 pounds on an intermittent basis
Comprehensive understanding of aseptic processes in daily activities
Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of Good Documentation Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
