Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Test & Certification Engineer (e-Mobility R&D) for our industrial manufacturing client in the Raleigh, NC area. The incumbent would support testing next generation charging, e-mobility products and applications within the research and development departments.
Responsibilities:
In accordance with international standards, define routine test specifications while preparing test set ups which include software, measurements, and data acquisitions for capturing test results.
Execute testing of A/C, D/C converter supplies for EV charging interfaces.
Edit and manage documentation of testing with technical reports, coordinating with external laboratories and certification agencies for verifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Â
5 years’ experience operating laboratory and electrical testing equipment.
Hands on knowledge of electrical schematics regarding high power, low and medium voltage applications of power electronics.
Familiarity with UL standards and experience with certification agencies and external labs.
Ability to travel domestically and internally to external testing labs.
Candidate must have authorization to work within the United States. Current or future sponsorship is not available at this time.
