Johnson Service Group, an award-winning staffing company is looking for  an experienced and detail-oriented Test Supervisor with a solid background in Electrical Engineering and hands-on expertise in PCB automated testing and power supply systems. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of electrical engineering experience and 3+ years of team management to oversee and improve test processes, ensure product quality, and lead a skilled team of test technicians and engineers. This for a Direct Hire position in the Sun Valley area for an Electronics company.
Pay Rate: $85K
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the day-to-day operations of the electrical test team.
Develop, implement, and maintain automated test procedures for printed circuit boards (PCBs), including high-reliability power supply units.
Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency, accuracy, and quality assurance practices.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Analyze test data, generate performance reports, and recommend design or process changes.
Ensure testing procedures meet applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Manage team scheduling, performance evaluations, and training programs.
Maintain test equipment and manage calibration schedules.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures and yield issues.
Support NPI (New Product Introduction) by developing initial test strategies and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong emphasis on automated testing of PCBs and power supply systems.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Proficiency in test development tools and platforms (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit testing, signal integrity, and power electronics.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 or other quality systems.
Familiarity with HALT/HASS and environmental testing.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
