Product Test Technician
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Product Test Technician for our client’s operation near Atlanta, GA. This is a contract to hire position and fantastic opportunity to gain exposure with a Fortune 500 industry leader.
Responsibilities:
• Perform dynamic crash testing in accordance with government and internal standards
• Maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment using various tools
• Reporting and archiving of test results in a timely manner
• Continuous improvement of laboratory equipment and processes
• Test sample preparation and disposal
• Perform other various physical and mechanical tests as required
Qualifications:
• Strong Mechanical ability (hand/shop tools, welding, soldering, machining, electronics)
• Proficiency with computers (Microsoft Office, other proprietary software for custom
equipment)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep them on track
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills
• Ability to regularly lift 30 lbs
• Extremely organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of pneumatics (air pressure / fluid) a plus
• Experience with dynamic/destructive testing a plus
• Electrical knowledge a plus
