Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Validation Support Technician. This is a contract hire opportunity with one of the world’s premier research-intensive biopharmaceutical company and is located in Millsboro DE.
Pay: $26/hour
What You'll Do:
Provide hands-on technical support for validation activities, including executing annual Performances Qualifications (PQs) of critical equipment in line with approved protocols.
Flexibly perform validation tasks that support operational scheduling, ensuring minimal impact on production timelines.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of new process equipment and validation requirements.
Support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions to address validation deviations and improve process robustness.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, biological systems engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or related sciences.
Minimum two years of experience in vaccine manufacturing if holding a bachelor’s degree.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, “great interviewer” attitude that values collaboration and adaptability.
Ability to work flexibly and support validation activities outside of standard hours when needed.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with validation protocols, equipment qualification, or manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems.
Previous experience working within a small, cross-functional team.
Preferred Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least two years’ experience in vaccine manufacturing.
Alternatively, an Associate degree paired with four or more years of related manufacturing experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to adapt working hours for validation activities.
Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
