JSG is interested in speaking with Appeals & Grievances Specialists with experience Managed Care experience.

This is a 3+ month contract opportunity with our top client in Longview, TX.

The Appeals & Grievances Specialist will require the ability to work independently researching and reviewing inquiries from members and providers. Also requires knowledge of benefit interpretation, claims reviews, CPT and ICD coding. Responsible for analyzing, researching, and managing appeal/grievance inventories from members and providers. Respond to inquiries using verbal and written forms of communication.

The ideal candidate possesses the below additional experience;

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years of Managed Care experience
  • Proficiency with EMRs such as Epic or Meditech
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Preferred experience coding, collections or medical AR
  • HS Diploma Required/AA degree preferred
