Johnson Service Group (JSG) is teamed up with a leader in the aerospace and defense industry. Our client is currently searching for a Brazing/Electro-Mechanical Assembler.
Scope of Experience and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for brazing, assembling, cleaning, joining and inspecting parts.
- Use mechanical tools and equipment, in an industrial setting.
- Complete paperwork and computer entries accurately and timely.
- Adjust electrical current for type and thickness of metal, as computed from data charts.
- Verifiy equipment calibration and expiration dates.
- Clean, assemble, join and inspect parts and conduct tests and inspections by following work instructions.
- May heat processed parts when equipment is shared for furnace brazing operations.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Must have excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be highly reliable with attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Work Environment / Physical Activities:
- Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects (not to exceed 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Work is performed in area that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
