JSG is hiring an Education Program Representative / Trainer for a 12 months contract opportunity - REMOTE 

Position Summary:

  • The Trainer is responsible for proactively developing, growing, and retaining strategic, long term partnerships with new and existing - clients within an assigned geography or industry vertical. This individual will be responsible for working with and building relationships with select group of clients and prospective clients to ensure clients are dealt with professionally, effectively, with team members to reach and maintain revenue goals and at the same time promote the SEC/NU System mission, vision and values to the company and to its employees. The trainer will deliver ongoing collaboration to ensure a strong implementation and commitment to Programs.
  • Under limited supervision, the Trainer as a subject matter expert on social and emotional learning will use approved program resources to train clients both in onsite and online training and coaching sessions; deliver train the trainer sessions and support the development of internal, client-sponsored capacity to sustain program use; participate in account management activities to ensure strong implementation and commitment; demonstrate professionalism and qualities consistent with social emotional competencies as conveyed by Programs. May utilize modules, webinars and other media to incorporate teaching and learning methodologies

Essential Functions:

  • The Trainer will develop strategic relationships with Pre-K superintendents, principals and teachers to encourage their adoption of the program. The ambassador will establish strategic partnerships with Pre-K organizations, national teachers’ organizations, school districts, charter schools, educational foundations, and youth development organizations to promote.
  • In collaboration with regional staff, manages high profile accounts in support of implementation
  • Executes training to assigned districts and organizations as established within the National University System (NUS) partnerships.
  • Collaborates with organization, schools and districts providing customized implementation and training plans that support the initial and subsequent Programs.
  • Coaches and/or mentors using a range of strategies to build confidence and competency in each teacher.
  • Establishes strong partnership relationships with assigned clients including administrators, teachers and staff.
  • Partners with evaluators and other coaches to build a community of practice.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; Master’s degree, preferred, but not required; and three (3) relevant teaching experience preferred
  • Three (3) years’ in coaching, mentoring or training experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project Management experience desirable.
