Johnson Service Group (JSG) is searching for an experienced HR Assistant/Coordinator for a 6 month contract position. This is an excellent opportunity to support our aresopace/defense client, in a fast-paced environment. 

Required Qualifications and Expertise: 

  • 1-3 years of related staffing and/or administrative support experience.
  • Support general staffing functions for a variety of engineering, professional, and production skills and job classifications.    
  • Will support the overall hiring process including scheduling interviews, managing candidates in Taleo, or a related HRIS systems experience.
  • Provide general administrative support, including reports, interview schedules, new hires, etc. 
  • Must be able to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills are required.
  • Union experience is a plus but not required.
  • Proficient with MS Office.

Education/Training:

  • 2 or 4 year degree in Business, HR or a similar discipline is a plus, but not required.  

Location: Santa Clarita, CA   

Start Date:  ASAP

Duration:  6 month contract position
