JSG is recruiting for a HR/IT Analyst – HRIS Analyst work for a large multi-national company in Calgary. This is a 6-month contract with possibilities or extension.

As an HRIS Analyst, you will join a HR team supporting a culture of high performance and results.

As part of the HRIS team within Shared Services, you will support the day-to-day operations of the HRIS team, ensuring HR data integrity and privacy is maintained and requests are resolved in a timely manner. You will identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.

You will also participate in special projects as an HR systems expert and will consider integration and process implications of new or proposed functionality.

Qualifications

• Respond to requests for HR system support including HR master data corrections and employee life cycle process support
• Complete root cause analyses for system and data errors, implement corrections and long term process or system changes as required
• Work with members of the HR Consulting team to plan, document and implement reorganizations with consideration of position dependencies, timing of communication and impacts to downstream systems
• Take ownership of requests and coordinate resolution across SAP, SuccessFactors and other systems
• Escalate and collaborate with other teams as required to ensure timely resolution of cases
• Track all requests using ServiceNow case management system
• Run regular data audits and complete data clean-up as required
• Create and execute test scripts for HR system changes related to quarterly releases, fixes and enhancements
• Work with team members to define business process and continuous improvement opportunities
• Create and maintain documentation for HR systems and processes
• Ensure a high standard of security across HR systems with adherence to employee privacy
• Play a key role in projects and initiatives to ensure processes and systems are designed with a holistic view of integrated systems and HR functions

Minimum Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field
• 4 years of HR systems experience
•Strong knowledge of HR core functional processes
•SAP and SharePoint Experience
