Johnson Service Group, Inc.  is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Team Lead to work for a growing and stable company that provides turnkey automation solutions for distribution center projects. (85% Travel Required - Primarily Washington and CA)

The  Field Service Team Lead will be responsible for onsite logistics and proper installation of materials. The ability to read and understand Electrical Wiring Diagrams & Mechanical drawings. As a Field Service Tech will have the ability to troubleshoot electrical Panels and field IO. This Field Service Team Lead will take ownership of customer reported issues and see those problems through to full resolution in coordination with Project Management. This position will also require the ability to track and maintain onsite material.

The  Field Service Tech will be able to use and understand basic manufacturer provided software tools to configure and troubleshoot system equipment. Utilize  pre-engineered checklists and manufacturer provided software to preform basic equipment configuration tasks.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Complete understanding of as-sold scope of supply and performance requirements. Identifying when out of scope requests are received from on-site customer representatives.
  • Coordinate and oversee mechanical / electrical installation crew of up to 10 personnel.
  • Communicate clear and concise plans with customer operations.
  • Quality control and safety on all installations  meets company, industry and regulatory agencies.
  • The ability to forecast potential obstructions, offering solutions in advance to keep schedule. 
  • Prioritize and track nonconformance issues according to severity and escalate internally quickly to maintain project schedule.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and work to establish a positive rapport with every customer representative.
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years working in site supervisory role and exhibits strong leadership traits.
  • Strong capabilities in using Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in an industrial or commercial environment
  • Electrical/PLC/Computer/Mechanical certification a plus
  • Able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
  • Experience in automation, conveyors, and artificial intelligence 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • MUST HAVE INSTALL EXPERIENCE
  • Must have solid Client interfacing experience. 
  • Must have Automation experience
  • Must have Manager, Supervisor, or previous lead experience
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong mechanical & electrical knowledge base used to provide timely solutions to resolving onsite issues and maintaining project schedules.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, read measure devices and blueprints
