JSG has an immediate direct hire need for a Logistics Coordinator with one of our premier Aerospace clients located in Mobile, AL.
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks:
•Design data processing and reporting tools/dashboards for daily operations management (WIP, productivity, KPIs, etc.)
•Gather data from ERP (SAP) and other operational tools for data processing
•Daily reporting of indicators to the operations management team and the customer(s) (Dashboard)
•Automate ways to export data and report indicators
•Implement visual management of activity indicators on the shopfloor (ANDON, production monitoring screen, etc.)
•Interface between operations and the customer to report, follow-up and resolve IT/IS issues
•Support operations in IT/IS coaching/training
•Identify IT/IS process improvement opportunities and implement them
•Local IT and IS support for operations (hardware, software) in coordination with the IT department
Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of logistics operations, a working knowledge of SAP functionality, be detail oriented, self-motivated, improvement minded, and dynamic in order to handle multiple inputs and competing priorities.
•Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Excel is required to include creation of Macros and building Pivot tables
•2+ years of experience in similar activities with similar responsibilities
•Aviation experience is a plus
Minimum Requirements
•Associates Degree or higher
•May substitute relevant experience for education
