Johnson Service Group is seeking to fill a 12 Month contract role located in St. Petersburg, FL for one of our Premier clients in the Healthcare Industry.  This is a Manufacturing environment. 

Must be able to work overtime with little or no advance notice.

Must be reliable and have great attendance.

Thermoformer Assistant

The Assistant helps run the Thermoforming machine by packaging the finished Blisters ensuring that the quality requirements are met. They also assist in supplying the line with material and machine changeovers alongside the main Thermoforming operator.


  • Responsible for working with the Thermoformer operators in meeting the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly production goals.
  • Assure that the correct amount, quantity, and item are packaged, and a quality product has been produced.
  • Help out in whatever capacity the Operator, department Supervisor and/or Director of Manufacturing determine is necessary to meet the daily production quotas.

Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and team members.
  • Refined listening skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple constituents, including management, and coworkers.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to be organized and prioritize.
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism from the supervisor.
  • Candidate must be willing to learn, be able to read and follow written and or verbal instructions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1+ yrs in a Manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing and or Thermoforming experience a plus but not a necessity.

Physical Requirements

  • Speak clearly and listen (hearing).
  • Stand, sit, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds – 35 pounds repetitively.
  • Move rolls of Plastic/Board/Foil/Liner/Label Stock – 400 pounds – 1000 pounds (rolling material on their diameter).
  • Move skids weighing up to 2,500 pounds with the use of mechanical and or powered rolling stock. (pallet jacks).
