Johnson Service Group (JSG) is teamed with a leader in the aerospace, defense and commercial markets. Immediate fulltime/direct hire 2nd and 3rd shift position for an experienced CNC/Conventional Machinist.
Scope of Experience and Responsibilities:

2-5+ years of conventional and/or CNC mill and lathe experience.

Experience with Mori Seiki Mills, Haas Lathes/Mills, Bridgeport Mills, , CNC Lathes and/or similar systems.

MasterCAM experience is a plus.
- Able to work from blueprints and similar documentation.

Experience with tooling and able to run small production work.

Monitor and maintain the condition of cutting tools.
- Utilize computer programs to enter part data (i.e. serial number), log time, look up instructions and blueprints and download programs.

Work from instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to correctly set up machines and inspect machined parts.
- Prefer experience with precision/close tolerance parts.

Knowledge of basic inspection techniques.

Ability to use micrometers, functional and cylindrical gauges, comparators, indicator setups, calibration stickers and scales is a plus.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
