Military Master Planner - AICP
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Military Master Planner to work on our client’s government projects. The position can work remote, ideally in the Huntsville, AL area. This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary and full benefits. Responsibilities:
The primary duties of the Military Master Planner will be to assist in planning, preparation, and developing documents in compliance with Federal and DoD policies. Directs the work of others in the completion of required studies, to include Vision plans, Capacity Utilization Studies, Requirements Analysis, Area Development Plan – Area Development Execution Plan and Installation Planning Standards. Must be familiar with leading Planning Charrettes, Developing DD 1391 (Pax System) and cost estimation for DoD facilities. Requires ability to travel to facilitate data collection and charrettes, in-person and distance stakeholder and agency coordination and interviews and project programming experience.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of direct military master planning and/or programming experience
- Knowledge of execution for Area Development Plans, Area Development Execution Plans, Installation Development Plans, Facility Requirements Analyses, Planning Charrettes and DD Forms 1391 Development (PAX system)
- Knowledge of planning disciplines, such as urban planning or design, environmental planning, military planning, economic development, or land use
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software programs indigenous to the practice of military planning, such as ASIP, RPLANS, ISR, HQIIS, etc.
- Solid understanding of GIS use, graphic design, and projections
- Must be a US Citizen
