Project Manager - Information Security / Data Loss Prevention
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Information Security Project Manager for our Atlanta, GA based client. The position is a long-term (initially 9+ months) contract position with competitive pay and remote work options. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure with a Fortune 500 industry leader and work on some innovative security projects.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all project management aspects of assigned security projects. These responsibilities include scheduling and facilitating meetings, building and managing project plans, coordinating deliverables and tasks across multiple teams and stakeholders, providing regular status updates, and ensuring the projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management required, including managing Information Security projects, as well as specific experience managing a data loss prevention project
- Experience managing a data loss prevention project in a large global organization is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Management Systems, or related field
- Expert knowledge of data loss prevention implementations and projects
- Basic understanding of information security and change management processes
- Strong attention to detail, follow-up and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to treat sensitive/confidential information appropriately
- Must possess personal tact, discretion, and good judgment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Project Management Professional preferred
