Johnson Service Group is searching for three (3) Project Managers for three separate VDOT Highway Maintenance contracts with one of our clients in Northern Virginia (NOVA). These contracts will encompass sections of highway in Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William Counties and the City of Alexandria. The Project Manager will oversee planning, estimating, procurement, and financial responsibilities to optimize cost/benefit of the contract. This role will also establish and report appropriate metrics for measuring contract performance and will be responsible for managing client (VDOT) relationships. Ideal candidates will have the following experience:
- 5+ years of documented experience with highway/roadway maintenance principles and practices (Asset Maintenance/O&M)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred (applicable/relevant work experience may be substituted for degree)
- Must have supervisor experience, demonstrating excellent leadership, management, planning, administration, financial, budgeting, reporting experience and supervisory authority with similar projects
- Needs documented experience with interstate accident and incident response and management related to major and minor crashes, including hazardous and nonhazardous materials spills and other type of related activities requiring an active response and participation
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record (Required)
- Experience with project management concepts, related processes, principles, and their application
These roles are direct hire (permanent) roles that offer a competitive salary + 15% bonus, company vehicle (with gas card), and excellent benefits that include a matching 401k plan. A relocation bonus is available and negotiable for those candidates that aren’t local to Northern Virginia.
