Amazing opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager in the city of Cypress California.

  • Oversee quality performance, including cost of quality, internal and external rejections, and effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  • Manage Quality Coordinator, Quality Engineer, and Quality tech team to ensure deliverables meet targeted goals.
  • Ensure that Quality Objectives are consistently met and drive improvements when needed.
  • Communicate quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.
  • Key member during Management Review meetings, working closely with management team to drive continuous improvement. 
  • As primary liaison with customers, assist Quality Engineer in ensuring customer satisfaction and promptly responding to complaints.
  • Audit statistical process control (SPC) data to evaluate the stability of manufacturing processes.
  • Responsible for managing nonconforming product, deciding disposition, and requesting deviations from customer requirements when necessary.
  • Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
  • Prepare and present state of quality report to communicate to managers and team at large.
  • Directly involved in advance product quality planning (APQP) activities, including review of PPAPs and other documentation.
  • Design and implement quality assurance training programs.
  • Develop and lead continuous improvement projects, managing key personnel to ensure targets are met. 
  • Quality Core Tolls training is a must; certified training a plus.
  • Lean and Six Sigma training desired.
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001-derived standards (AS9100, TS16949).
  • Excellent supervising and managing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, set and accomplish objectives.
  • High attention to detail, with a passion for organization, structure and lean processes.
  • Able to work with multiple teams.
  • Must be highly computer literate, with strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. Adobe Acrobat and MS Projects a plus.
