JSG has a long term contract opening for a Rotating Equipment Engineer in Memphis TN. This position is approved for 1 year and could be extended.
Position Description: Facility needs an engineer with mechanical experience to assist the MIQA Leader in retooling the MIQA program per updated corporate guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist local resources with locating and identifying equipment documentation.
- Sort through, verify relevance & accuracy of, and label equipment documentation for upload into digital database.
- Update or create, if needed, equipment inspection and test plans (ITP) per Clients standards.
- Data mining using the Client’s SAP maintenance management system and process equipment records.
- Analysis of process equipment data sheets and API inspection reports.
- Work closely with senior MIQA staff to assess compliance with the MIQA improvement initiative and update the tool used to track progress.
- Field verification of process equipment design and condition.
- SAP data entry and correction of equipment records to meet minimum engineering documentation standards.
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering – Preferably Mechanical
- 3-5 Years of Experience in a Plant/Manufacturing Environment
- Good Organizational Skills
- Ability to work in a Team Environment
Preferred
- Understanding of fixed and rotating equipment
- Ability to read and interpret process & instrument diagrams (P&ID)
