Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized contract engineering and technical staffing firm, specializing in Engineering and Manufacturing. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager who will work remotely in Northern California for one of the top EDM and Milling Machine Manufacturing Companies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a successful sales strategy to align with corporate goals and achieve objectives.
  • Analyze and monitor sales forecast activity and profit margin performance and make the necessary changes in a timely manner to achieve goals consistent with Region and Company objectives.
  • Create action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships. Take a primary role in the sales efforts to acquire key prospects and secure the order.
  • Support critical customer situations and liaison with Service and Application staff to obtain the best solutions to maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Establish professional relationships within the industry and partner with customers to further understand and anticipate their needs.
  • Maintain a high level of motivation and positive attitude in the assigned region promoting a strong self-image and willingness to work together.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing volume and performance in the region. Complete other reporting duties consistent with Sales Manager position.
  • Conduct seminars and attend trade shows promoting Company, Machines and Service Offerings
  • National and international travel to company locations, trade shows and customers is required on a regular basis to cultivate internal and external relationships.

Qualifications

  • Prior sales experience in the machining tool industry required.
  • Prior management experience preferably in an engineering, aerospace, and/or machine tool sales environment is helpful.
  • Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word and Power Point.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
