Johnson Service Group is looking for a Multiple Spindle Screw Machine Set-up/Operators with experience in manufactured quality precision machined components. This would be a 6 month contract to a direct hire for a client in the near western suburbs.
Prefer 2nd shift
Hours 3:20-1:50 am
Responsibilities:
- Ability to set-up, operate, adjust, and maintain group of spindle screw machines to perform metal cutting functions to specifications
- Maintain quality and production levels to customer/client’s standards
- 6 Spindle Wickman machines
- 6 Spindle Acme Gridley machines
- 6 Spindle New Britain machines
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
- Prefer 3-5 years of applied machine shop experience
- Basic reading and writing knowledge
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work schedules and a basic understanding of shop math
- Basic computer skills
