Our Medical Device client in Oakland is seeking a Mobile Application SQA Automation and Integration Manager for a long-term opportunity.

You would manage the Google Play and Apples stores, to load and administer the store. Work with internal marketing and development team to fill the store with current version of the apps as well as execute post deployment testing.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Able to create JSON files (for iOS and Android) and test the connectivity of the app with the files
    1. Must be able to use a text editor
    2. Needs to work in a team environment to capture correct content for key stake holders testing needs
    3. Needs to understand the file naming structure and be able to fill out the upload request form using good documentation practices
    4. Needs to be able to support the creation and upload of both Staging and Production JSON files.
    5. Needs to be able to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  2. Able to pre-load artifacts to ensure compatibility with the mobile store and deploy the final artifacts to the mobile store
    1. Familiar with mobile store features and operation
    2. Able to work with GSM to ensure correct content of the artifacts, provide feedback on required modifications, and update the guidelines for mobile store changes
  3. Able to coordinate the uploading of all required files necessary for app review.
    1. Needs to work in a team environment to ensure all required SKU BOM files are created, reviewed, uploaded, and in place to support Publishing the app for review.
    2. Needs to complete the upload request forms for the required files and understand the file structure of the Distribution Server.
  4. Able to submit the apps for review and support the review process
    1. Familiar with app configurations (both iOS and Android) and able to troubleshoot app reviews with mobile store reviewers
    2. Able to work with other departments such as RA, QA, SWQA, and Artwork/Labeling to get necessary input to address app and deployment review.
  5. Able to conduct app deployment testing to verify the correct configuration of the SKU BOM components
    1. Able to follow and complete deployment confirmation protocols using good documentation practices.
    2. Familiar with accessing mobile stores outside of the US using VPN or account configurations and able to troubleshoot connectivity/access issues.
    3. Familiar with the operations of the app needed to complete the protocol steps.
    4. Able to access Agile documents needed to confirm the app and record the configuration of the materials used to conduct the testing.
  6. Able to document the Deployment Confirmation Report and submit it to Agile with the attached completed confirmation protocols.
    1. Able to write the Deployment Confirmation Report per good documentation practices
    2. Able to submit the report to Agile to document the deployment confirmation activities
    3. Able to participate in DOR to support the deployment confirmation activities.
  7. Able to complete the Publish/Release form for all the SKUs
    1. Able to provide task/duration estimates for scheduling the deployment.
    2. Able to manage and coordinate the activities needed to successfully deploy the apps
    3. Able to complete the Publish/Release form for all the SKUs
    4. Able to document all necessary attachments and submit the form in Agile to document the release.
  8. Able to release the apps in the mobile stores and manage them after release.
    1. Familiar with mobile store features and operation
    2. Able to work with GSM to ensure correct content of the artifacts, provide feedback on required modifications, and update the guidelines for mobile store changes
    3. Able to support app removal, mobile device blocking/resuming, current app retention, and app replacement.
  9. Able to manage and when necessary implement changes in Agile to the deployment procedures and protocols.
    1. Identify deployment process issues, propose solutions, get consensus on the changes
    2. Redline the documents and submit the change to Agile, get approval, train on and implement the changes with the team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher

- Evidence of continuing education, such as technical certifications, a plus
 

- Minimum 7 years’ experience
 

- Minimum 5 years’ experience with mobile applications
 

- Prior experience working in an FDA regulated environment, a plus
 

- Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline driven environment
