The ideal candidate possesses the below qualifications;
- 1 year of warehouse/storeroom experience
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Superior Customer Service skills
- MRO or logistics experience preferred
- Experience with SAP or PeopleSoft ERP software is a plus!
Position Summary;
- Under directive supervision, the Storeroom Attendant receives, disburses and requisitions, stores material and maintains inventory.
- Assists Supervisor with purchases for stores inventory and is responsible for establishing storeroom procedures and computerization through SAP.
- Responsible for writing purchase requisitions for storeroom material and supplies when inventory quantities are reduced below requirements, maintains necessary catalogs and parts lists as references when ordering materials.
- Obtains information from operating and maintenance personnel regarding new spare and replacement parts to be ordered.
- Responsible for follow up with suppliers to insure deliveries, mails or tags material as required and stores same.
- Assists maintenance employees and lead operators in retrieving parts needed for mill or any other production repairs.
