Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively seeking Structures Mechanics with 5 years of experience in Huntsville, AL. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure with a leader in the aerospace industry.

Structural Technicians to perform a variety of operations such as part fabrication, removal and installation of Frames, Beams, skins, and composite structures. The airframe technician will also possess knowledge of trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming. Measures parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes to structure. Must be able to interpret technical drawings and blueprints and follow Special Service Instructions (SSI’s) as required to retrofit airframe structures. Must possess a working knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems such as IETM, IADS, and aircraft forms documentation.
Must be knowledgeable of Tool control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Quality procedures and basic Flight Line operations.
Area of work and typical roles include: Aircraft structural repair, Crash damage repairs, Aircraft structure teardown and evaluation, incorporate ECP’s, Technical directives, ASAMS, ASB’s, and CSN’s, validate and verify retrofit upgrades and administer training to customers (OJT).
Familiar with and support the organizations Quality policy and Quality objectives. Self inspect work prior to requesting final quality inspection.
Comply with EH&S policy and applicable regulatory rules and requirements. Report immediately to supervision, conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment.

Experience & Skills Required:

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience on UH-60 BlackHawk
• Candidate shall be motivated and require very little supervision.
• Must be able to work with as a part of a group of other technicians
• Must be able to read, interpret/understand Technical drawings, Blueprints and Interactive electronic technical manuals.
• Must be able to use associated measuring equipment, i.e. gauges and calipers.
• MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL Domestic and International.
