We are seeking a VP of Finance for a leading Healthcare provider in Tyler TX.

We are seeking a candidate who has experience with large Physician Groups (excess of 100 Physician in a group) and has had relations with the Physicians and/or Providers within the Physician Group. Additionally, we need someone who has experience with Physician Compensation plans. What involvement did you have with compensation plans?  Did you implement one?  Or abide by one already in place? Can you define the compensation plan you have input or oversight on? Did the Physicians push back on the plan, how were you able to resolve? Regarding Revenue Cycle, what improvements have you implemented to improve revenue? Were you responsible for generating revenue?  If so, how?

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the daily financial operations of Clinic Management Services. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, CMS with secondary reporting relationship to the Chief Administrative Officer, CMS, this position provides financial leadership at the clinic level. This position is responsible for implementing and carrying out plans and programs established by Clinic Management Services and Health. Demonstrates full support of CMS’ mission through demonstrated measurable results and conduct consistent with the mission statement and strategic plan. Provides financial management, information and guidance to the CCMS leadership team and clinic leadership. Works closely with the centralized financial functions including Revenue Cycle, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Budgeting and Analysis, Decision Support, Information Management and Materials Management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
B. Experience:
• Minimum of five (5) years’ Medical Group as Finance Director and/or Controller experience and/or ten (10) or more years of progressive financial operations experience in a similarly sized Medical Group.
• Management experience with an organization covering multiple states is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing and understanding the financial functions (financial and statistical reporting, operations analysis, planning, forecasting, budgeting, contracting and physician compensation) required to support the growth of a multispecialty physician group.
• Proven ability to develop and implement systems that address costs, quality, regulatory requirements and resource utilization management; and a knowledge of operational issues.
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
• Membership and involvement in Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) or American Medical Group Association (AMGA) preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant credentials required
