            <description><![CDATA[<strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong><br>
The Composites Mechanic performs aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time and in accordance with applicable HAECO Airframe Services ("HAECO"), FAA, and customer standards of quality.&nbsp; This includes organizing his or her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner.&nbsp; The Composites Mechanic is responsible to work in a safe manner, eliminating waste, and delivering a quality product on time.<br>
<br>
JOB DESCRIPTION:<br>
Perform composite activities including production and repairs within prescribed cycle-time/ budgeted time and to HCS standards of quality. Will perform final assemblies per engineering drawings and specification requirements. <br>
<br>
<strong>Essential Job Duties:</strong>
<ul>
&#9;<li>Manufacture interior parts and components utilizing engineering drawings and specifications.
&#9;<li>Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by HCS policies and procedures.
&#9;<li>Perform basic and advanced functions of panel preparation, reading and interpreting of blue prints, engineering process and material specifications. 
</ul>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Follow proper paperwork and documentation procedures. 
&#9;<li>Comply with safety and company policies and use protective equipment as required.
</ul>

<strong>Secondary Duties: </strong><br>

<strong>Job Qualifications: </strong><br>
<strong>Minimum</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>High school diploma or equivalent
&#9;<li>Basic computer skills
&#9;<li>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
&#9;<li>Must be able to learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, etc.
&#9;<li>Proficient in use of hand tools such as drill motors, screw gun, die grinder and routers
&#9;<li>One (1) year shop experience in similar environment
</ul>
<br>
<strong>Physical Requirements:</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
&#9;<li>Subject to continual loud noises
&#9;<li>Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected
&#9;<li>Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps, ladders and/or service stands
&#9;<li>Must be able to wear and breathe through a respirator
&#9;<li>Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins and adhesives
</ul>
