Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a HR Generalist for our clientâs operation in near Lumberton, NC.&nbsp; This is a contract position and fantastic opportunity to gain exposure with a Fortune 500 industry leader.<br>

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for managing and supporting policies and programs covering most, if not all, of the following functions within Human Resources with primary focus on the factory hourly population: talent acquisition and onboarding, employee orientation, employee recognition programs, corrective actions, and investigations.<br>
<br>
<strong>Qualifications:</strong><br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Prior HR experience in Manufacturing, Distribution or Supply Chain
&#9;<li>Bachelors Degree preferred
&#9;<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills
&#9;<li>Ability and comfort level working with all levels of employees in a fast paced and change oriented environment
&#9;<li>Comfort dealing with ambiguity and navigating ambiguous situations

&#9;<li>Partner with HR and Management on escalating ER issues </li>
&#9;<li>Manage termination requests from managers and communicate to the appropriate staffing agency. </li>
&#9;<li>Manage contingent employee tracking system and reporting data (hires, terminations, backfills, agency performance, etc.) </li>
&#9;<li>Review and qualify new requisitions and release them to appropriate staffing partners. </li>
&#9;<li>Coordinate/schedule interviews between hiring manager and staffing agencies. </li>
&#9;<li>Ability to travel to job fairs as needed.</li>

&#9;<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to fill open requisitions, confirm working hours and updating job descriptions. 
&#9;<li>Serve as first point of contact for contingent employees regarding their work assignments (transfers, ER issues, etc.) 
&#9;<li>Partner with HR and Management on escalating ER issues 
&#9;<li>Manage termination requests from managers and communicate to the appropriate staffing agency. 
&#9;<li>Manage contingent employee tracking system and reporting data (hires, terminations, backfills, agency performance, etc.) 
&#9;<li>Review and qualify new requisitions and release them to appropriate staffing partners. 
&#9;<li>Coordinate/schedule interviews between hiring manager and staffing agencies.
