Job Description Summary:<br>
<br>
Provides hands-on support to Engineering/Production/Manufacturing by performing activities such as, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electro/mechanical systems. Applications may include electronic circuits, power distribution, life/vehicle critical safety systems and battery systems. Work is performed from schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. &nbsp;Performs work in both Laboratory setting as well as work on manufacturing floor or on vehicle depending on manufacturing needs.<br>

Responsibilities include but not limited to:<br>

o &nbsp; Building different components and assemblies for all groups across Blue Origin in all different environments (development, test and flight).<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; Assisting with assembly of new and updated designs by working directly with engineering to determine best practices for assembly.<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; Giving regular input on manufacturing improvement opportunities or build changes leading to more efficient assembly. &nbsp;<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; Serve both internal and external customers across multiple systems and multiple platforms; each Technician is a valued part of the chain that supports safe human spaceflight.&nbsp;<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; A focus on safety, collaborative teamwork, and quality allows us to work together to determine the best path forward, balancing speed and safety to create high-quality components that will propel future astronauts and payloads into space for the improvement of mankind.<br>
<br>
&nbsp;Experience with applying torque to fasteners/components.<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; Fabricating, terminating, and repair/testing of wire harnesses.<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; 3 or more yearsâ experience in Aerospace Avionics or related fields.<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; Experience inspecting and certifying work performed to relevant standards and specifications.<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; Attention to detail and passion for space.<br>
<br>
o &nbsp; Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.<br>

<strong>A&P Mechanic:</strong><br>
&bull;&nbsp;Inspects, maintains, repairs, and overhauls aircraft components and systems such as engines, landing gear, hydraulics, flight controls, and avionics to ensure they're safe and airworthy<br>
&bull;&nbsp;Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to repair aircraft systems<br>
&bull;&nbsp;Diagnose issues, replace parts, perform detailed inspections, and document all maintenance according to federal regulations<br>
&bull;&nbsp;Troubleshoot flight control systems<br>
&bull;&nbsp;Commercial aviation or equivalent military aviation maintenance experience required<br>
&bull;&nbsp;A&P License Preferred, not required<br>
<strong>Qualifications:</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>FAA Airframe license, or A&P license preferred, but&nbsp;<u>not required</u>.
&#9;<li>Minimum 2+ years of related commercial aircraft MRO experience
