Responsibilities

Design, build, and enhance backend services orchestrating enterprise-scale data flows
Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries across large data warehouses
Develop and manage event-driven integrations using messaging systems
Design and deliver REST and GraphQL APIs for downstream systems
Improve system observability, data quality, resiliency, and operational reliability
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and engineering teams
Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
Support production systems ensuring data accuracy and downstream integrity

Sr. Electrical Engineer Description

Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal and healthcare facilities.
Conduct site visits, inspections, field surveys to support design and construction phases.
Preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams and load calculations.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other team members.
Review of submittals and RFIs during construction administration
Serve as Project Engineer and Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects
Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)
Capable of leading a team of engineers and working independently with little guidance.

The ideal candidate possesses the below additional experience;

10+ years of Electrical Design experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
Understanding of NEC, NFPA & IEEE codes and standards
Experience with sustainable design and LEED-certified projects preferred
Excellent communication, multi-tasking and an ability to work independently
Professional Engineering (PE) license required
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Required

Responsibilities
This role as Senior Mechanical Engineer will be focused on a mix of project types, everything from critical environment healthcare designs to energy performance work and large public infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and responding to the needs of multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Additional responsibilities will include:

Lead the project team in the design and development of HVAC and MEP systems for commercial and institutional projects. Projects can include healthcare work such as operating rooms, CSS, pharmacies, in-patient hospitals, And outpatient facilities. Projects could also be Public Works, with clients such as DASNY, CUNY, NYS OGS, and NYCHA.
Lead a team to conduct site surveys and assessments to gather data for system design and retrofitting.
Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC and MEP systems seamlessly into building designs.
Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation tools to create accurate designs and calculations.
Perform energy modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and ensure compliance with energy codes and standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Develop project design budgets and schedules.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancement, and best practices in HVAC design and engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelorâs Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's Degree a plus
Professional Engineering (PE) license required
Min 12 years of industry experience
Proven track record of managing and designing multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines
Knowledge of NYS / NYC / International Building Codes.
Familiarity with Healthcare codes and standards is a significant plus

Job Description

Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
Performing and approve the quality of raw materials before manufacturing begins
Read and understand blueprints and specifications
Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards
Recommend adjustments to the process or assembly
Measure products with rulers, calipers, gages, or micrometers
Accept or reject finished items
Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
Report inspection and test data
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection
Perform 1st Piece Inspections
Verify and document that materials are manufactured to blueprint requirements
Maintain acceptable quality levels during manufacture of products and assemblies
Identify and resolve problems, effectively manage change and deal with conflict in a fast paced environment
Proficiency with calipers, micrometers and AS9100 Aerospace Standards/MIL Standards

Job Description
Seeking 2nd Shift CNC Machinists to set up and operate CNC Mill, Lathe, Mill, and Cylindrical Grinding Machines who are detailed oriented, organized, has good communication skills, and is a team player.

Requirements

Able to work from production blueprints or sketches
Adhere to engineering specified tolerances/procedures and perform gaging operations
Perform machine lubrication and preventative maintenance
Certification from Technical Institute or equivalent desirable but not required
Able to work 2nd Shift schedule 4:15PM - 12:45AM
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

Analyzes blueprints and other documents and prepares detailed cost estimates
Performs accurate quantity takeoffs of available design documents
Leads the development of conceptual and feasibility cost model estimates utilizing historic benchmarking information and industry experience in order to develop complete early stage cost estimate forecasting.
Obtains accurate and up to date pricing information from databases, contractors, suppliers, etc. to utilize in estimates.
Reviews inputted estimate takeoff information in CATO for specific disciplines in order to provide check to assess accuracy and suitability for project type and specific project requirements.
Reviews and finalizes estimate unit cost pricing to reflect current market conditions and specific project logistics.
Reviews historic benchmark cost information and highlights variances.
Works with architects and engineers to develop clear understanding of project scope during preparation of estimate. Develops relationships with members of A/E firms and project team members.
Prepares cost reconciliation between two or more estimates and explain variance cost drivers.
Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Education

Bachelorâs Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus minimum 5 yearsâ aviation experience preferred.
Without a degree, required fifteen years of experience.
Computer skills required. Part of our On-Call/On-Site Cost Estimating based out of Newark Airport (EWR) for the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey (PA).
Provide high level cost estimates for various cost studies, and projects for the EWR Redevelopment program including:
New EWR Airtrain and related Air Train Stations
New proposed Terminal B planning program
Landside sitework and utilities projects associated with the Air train project
Improvements and relocation of airport facilities to accommodate the EWR Redevelopment program.
Work independently with PA engineers to provide cost estimates and reconcile with contractor bids.
Fluent in MS Excel, On- Screen takeoff and SharePoint document control.
