We are seeking an experienced Engineering Repair Technician responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and testing a variety of manufactured electronics products and materials.<br>
Primary Responsibilities include:
<ul>
&#9;<li>Disassemble, evaluate, troubleshoot to component level, quote, repair, reassemble and test all units
&#9;<li>Performs testing with procedures and documentation by developing equipment setups for undocumented requirements
&#9;<li>Assembles and tests experimental motor-control devices and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles.
&#9;<li>Test/troubleshoot to component level and board level
&#9;<li>Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction of equipment, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
&#9;<li>Plans, directs, and records periodic electrical testing, and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
&#9;<li>Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications
&#9;<li>Monitor controls and instruments
&#9;<li>Coordinate and participate in installing units or systems to be tested in test fixtures, mechanical or electrical controls, cabling, power source and indicating instruments
&#9;<li>Activates controls to apply electrical or mechanical power and subjects test items to successive steps in the test cycle
&#9;<li>Recommend changes to ATP's as necessary
&#9;<li>Confer with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication problems relating to specifications and reviews test plans such as types and cycles of tests
&#9;<li>Review and respond to open corrective actions
&#9;<li>Provides input to assist in resolving customer problems and complaints
</ul>
Qualifications:

<ul>
&#9;<li>Associates degree and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
&#9;<li>5+ years previous engineering experience in an Aerospace environment
&#9;<li>Utilizes standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and frequency generators
&#9;<li>Familiarity with MRP systems
&#9;<li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
&#9;<li>Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
&#9;<li><strong>Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR definition</strong>

5+ years of experience creating comprehensive work instructions related to one or more: machine parts, composite details, composite assemblies, airframe structures, aircraft systems, aircraft check-outs, wiring and electrical systems, plumbing, aircraft maintenance, MRB or coatings<br>
Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing work instruction planning.<br>
Aviation experience preferred but not required<br>
