Required Skills

• Laboratory experience and in-depth knowledge with analytical laboratory techniques, including: HPLC/UPLC (including SEC, HIC, IEX, and RP), CE, cIEF, and Simple Western
• Chromatography and/or CE experience, specifically:
  • Chromatography (HPLC / UPLC—reverse phase and SEC) or
  • Capillary electrophoresis (CE)
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and strong attention to detail
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to deliver complex objectives under aggressive timelines in a rapidly changing environment
• Capacity to learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and keep accurate records
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies
• Proficiency with required laboratory and productivity tools, including:
  • Empower, 32 Carat, and other laboratory software (as applicable)
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
• Scientific data processing, documentation, and reporting

Nice to Have Skills

• MALS (Multi-angle light scattering) / RI / UV / CAD detection
• DLS
• Zeta Potential
• Experience analyzing small-molecules (e.g., lipids) and/or biologics (e.g., proteins or mRNA)
• Large molecule experience
• Electrophoresis
• Additional detector experience such as UV / FLD detectors
• Familiarity with separation methods including:
  • Reverse phase
  • SEC
  • CE
  • Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC)

Preferred Education and Experience

• Ph.D. with 2+ years in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field
• M.S. with 5+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
• B.S. with 7+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry

• Hands-on responsibility for analytical work including:
  • Analytical method development
  • Routine laboratory testing using separation and biochemical methods
  • Reagent preparation
  • Instrument maintenance, tracking, monitoring, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
  • Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory

As a Senior Electrical Wiring Designer you will be supporting our Power business, you will be based onsite at our Reading, PA office, delivering high-quality electrical design and drafting services to Worley and our clients. You’ll contribute to complex and rewarding power generation projects that help energize industries, infrastructure, and communities.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation wiring design for power generation projects.
• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Design or Drafting with coursework focused on power systems.
• Equivalent combination of education, hands-on training, and relevant experience in electrical design and drafting for power generation related projects preferred.
• Proficiency in SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI), AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Detailed wiring drawings for lighting, small power, and earthing systems.
• MV/LV single-line diagrams and control/wiring schematics.
• AC/DC distribution panels, process area electrical equipment layouts.
• Cable schedules and cable sizing calculations.
